Re-entry Permit query by a Green Card holder?

I would be available staying in the US for just 23 days for the processing of my Re-entry Permit (currently out of the US and go back just for this purpose in coming Aug). Would these 23 days be sufficient to be notified by USCIS for the biometrics fingerprinting at Application Support Center. How can I speed it up within these 23 days since I would e allowed to leave the US immediately after the fingerprinting taken?
