Will overclocking this notebooks CPU damage it and is it worth it as I want to be able to game on it?

overclocking any CPU will generate more heat, and if you don't have a way to dissipate this heat it will be bad for the computer in general. Notebooks are generally bad at removing heat and tend to overheat as it is (which is why it is generally frowned upon to overclock them)
