RE Citizenship and Green card surrender .?

I applied for US citizenship going through the process etc. Now i cannot seem to find my green card do i have to replace its as they wish you to surrender it when taking the OAth once I pass the test etc of course .Its $450.00 I call Immigration and get different answers . Doing my Biometrics tomorrow .
