How do you view other people's desktops?

i used to know a website where you can view your friends' desktops but they have to give you the permission first and i forgot.. if you know a website like that could you please tell me? i don't want to spy on their computer i just want to teach them something but they live in a different country so i can't visit them .. thanks for ur help!
